The theme "Future Proofing Women for Change" is thoughtfully designed to address the unique challenges women face in today's rapidly evolving world. As part of the Women in AI Initiative, we are committing to collaborate with HYBR and other partners to not only advocate diversity in STEM but curate events to enable access to education and partner networks.
Week One: Inspire - Kicking off the month, a motivational webinar featuring renowned speaker Rebecca Enonchong will be facilitated by Janet Sawari. This webinar will emphasize the importance of mental well-being and regaining momentum after facing tumultuous challenges, leaving the audience inspired and uplifted.
Week Two: Learn - Five masterclasses will be offered, covering essential topics for women's success, including technology, money management, boardroom etiquette, leadership, and entrepreneurship. These masterclasses will equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in various aspects of their lives.
Week Three: Grow - Two interactive workshops will focus on design thinking and business development, providing women with practical insights and strategies to overcome challenges and thrive in an ever-changing business landscape.
Week Four: Community - The month will culminate with two in-person events, one in Johannesburg and one in Cape Town, where partners will unite to focus on "Future Proofing Digital Entrepreneurship." These events will create a dynamic space for networking, collaboration, and mutual support among aspiring women entrepreneurs.
By joining forces, The AI Review, HYBR, Twaa, and Rebound Africa aim to leverage each organization's expertise to provide women with comprehensive support, empowering them to thrive in a world that demands adaptability and resilience. The collective commitment to gender equality and women's empowerment drives this collaboration to build a better and more equitable future together.
