ABOUT TAIR AI LABS

Our  AI Labs' mission is to accelerate connected solution development. Our model includes learning through research, building solutions, and connecting ecosystem stakeholders; private organizations, government, NGOs, and individuals to position Africa as a global leader in 4IR innovation.

We are dedicated to the continuous research and development of social challenges on the African Continent. This enables the lab to constantly deliver up-to-date solutions to our lab members, partners and beneficiaries. We believe if we are constantly seeking to understand the continents interconnected problems, we will be able to solve them.

TAIR labs is dedicated to building solutions that solve social challenges and impact communities at the ground level, but we also prioritize ethics, policy, regulation and the standardization of solution integration practices.

Monitoring the 4IR ecosystem on the continent is our first solution to solve the continents connectivity challenge. TAIR is developing a network of multiple stakeholders to 'connect' online and offline, to connect through software and to connect through infrastructure development. We believe when we connect, 'no man will be left behind',  the people, the governance, the educators and the educated will all connect together to learn and build Africa's 4IR solutions.

DRIVING AMBITION 

The Future of Mobility in Africa - Research Track
2021- current 

The future of mobility will be fuelled by three key technology-driven disruptive trends: electrification of vehicles, connected & autonomous vehicles, and Mobility-as-a-Service.

 

In an effort to better understand the landscape of invention on the African continent TAIR Labs is going to be researching the state of mobility and the future of mobility on the continent.

 

We will be documenting part of the research process in a documentary, we will release academic reports & articles on the transportation sector in Africa, and our key projects will be focusing on innovative mobility solutions. We are looking forward to demonstrating some of these technologies at our Lab, open-sourcing critical inventions, and expanding our scope of research through co-creation events & forums.
